Recognizing the Dualistic Structure of Our Experiences
It is very difficult to overcome the dualistic structure imposed on our experiences — harder still, that of our language.

Someone once said to me: “I think many of our challenges come from not overcoming duality — the subject/object split.” And then went on to say: “A new way to experience thoughts…” Even words such as these, which may initially sound so perceptive, still can't break that dualistic structure. But what if there was no observer of thoughts that arise? Instead, when this thought arises there is also the true nature of the thought as being awareness itself. In other words, the awareness of the thought is a quality of the thought itself, not some background awareness that thoughts are arising within.
