Beyond the explanatory potential of this paradigm, does it offer any practical benefit to non-scientists?
“It is probably true quite generally that in the history of human thinking the most fruitful developments frequently take place at those points where two different lines of thought meet.” — Werner Heisenberg
Using the example of human visual and auditory perception, James will present the novel paradigm of responsive naturing, employing it to explain the mysteries of our constructed perceptions.
He will show how this paradigm can be used to make statistical predictions. This paradigm, whose genesis was a known advanced meditative state, entails a novel and foundational redefinition of what awareness and consciousness is, while replacing our current paradigm of physical causality.
The ultimate effect of this is an orderly replacement of our current cognitive frame of mechanical materialism, and an extension of the fields of science — in a positive way — into new and fertile areas of study.
